Join us for a full day with Dr. Rosa Vásquez Espinoza, National Geographic Explorer and founder of Amazon Research International, as she brings her passion for rainforest science and discovery to Middle Tennessee. Recognized among the BBC's 100 Most Influential Women in the World and celebrated for her groundbreaking work protecting Amazon biodiversity, Dr. Vásquez Espinoza will lead two hands-on workshops designed to spark curiosity in explorers of every age.

10:30 a.m. — Members & Guests Workshop
Discovery Center members and guests are invited to an interactive morning session with Dr. Vásquez Espinoza, exploring the wonders of the rainforest and the real-world science behind her Amazon research.

12:30 p.m. — Teen Science Café with the Young Leaders Council
Dr. Vásquez Espinoza will host a special Teen Science Café session for the Young Leaders Council, giving teens the chance to dig deeper into her research and ask questions about a career in science and exploration.
