SUMMARY:Discovery Design Time
DESCRIPTION:This week’s Discovery Design Time explores the evolution of art tools in Osmo Drawing\, a Monsters in the Museum-themed session tracing creativity from early humans grinding natural pigments to today’s interactive technology. Art tools have always evolved alongside human innovation — from stone carvers and paintbrushes to cameras and digital games — and this session puts that evolution right in guests’ hands. \nGuests will use tablets paired with Osmo’s interactive drawing accessories\, following along with guided prompts on a dry-erase board as the Monster app leads them through listening and drawing tasks. With just five stations available\, guests are encouraged to team up and share the experience with siblings and friends. \nGuests will build new vocabulary like technology and auditory\, while discovering how design and digital tools come together in hands-on STEAM learning. \nDiscovery Design Time is a weekly program held every Thursday at Discovery Center at Murfree Spring — each session features a new theme and activity\, so guests can join again and again for a fresh hands-on art experience. \n📅 Date: October 29\, 2026\n🎨 Theme: Monsters in the Museum\n📍 Discovery Center at Murfree Spring\, Murfreesboro\, TN
